VIT Tracking and Tracing Transitioning to New Site

Another advancement of Virginia International Terminals transition to the N4 operations system officially takes place tomorrow morning.
Port stakeholders will no longer have access to tracking and tracing intermodal equipment on This site will be taken down permanently.

As of today, VPA has launched a Port of Virginia (POV) tracking site. Access to this site is from the home page (quick access page) of and the clicking on the POV Tracking tab.

As of tomorrow morning, this will be the only site available for accessing container information.
The new site has many improvements over the site we have been using. The best one being it tracks all three ports, VIG – PMT – NIT, at the same time.

More information will follow throughout the day. We suggest that everyone start using this today. As with anything new, there will be a slight learning curve.

It has been in Beta testing for a couple of weeks with good results.
