A message intended for individual truck drivers – an electronic version of this message can be found here: Traffic Pattern Changes – NIT North Transfer Zone

As you enter NIT’s North Transfer Zone from Railroad Avenue, there is a single lane queue entrance that opens up to two separate zone entrances.

Effective Monday, April 16, at 0500 hours, there will be two single lane queue entrances that will each lead to a single transfer zone entrance. This change will provide additional queuing room, alleviating traffic on Railroad Avenue. There will also be two “DO NOT BLOCK” boxes painted on the pavement on Railroad Avenue northbound. These boxes will help ensure the free flow of traffic if a North Transfer Zone queue develops.
