TRAFFIC ALERT
I-564 LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED MARCH 13-18
– Closures part of I-564 Intermodal Connector Project –

NORFOLK – Temporary lane closures have been scheduled on I-564 eastbound and westbound beginning Sunday, March 13 through Friday, March 18, 2016 for construction activities relating to the I-564 Intermodal Connector Project. The lane closures will extend approximately one-half mile between I-564 Chambers Airfield Tunnel at Naval Air Station Norfolk to the I-564/SR 406/Terminal Blvd-Hampton Blvd. exit. Closures will occur as scheduled unless delayed by weather or other factors.

Lane closures are as follows:

Sunday, March 13
I-564 Eastbound, 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane/center lane

I-564 Westbound, 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane/center lane

Monday, March 14
I-564 Eastbound, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane

Tuesday, March 15
I-564 Eastbound, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 right shoulder/right lane

I-564 Westbound, 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane

Wednesday, March 16
I-564 Eastbound, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 right shoulder/ right lane

I-564 Eastbound, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane

Thursday, March 17
I-564 Eastbound, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 right shoulder/right lane

I-564 Westbound, 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 left shoulder/left lane

Friday, March 18
I-564 Eastbound, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Lanes closed: I-564 right shoulder/right lane

Motorists should be alert for lane closures and alternate routes prior to traveling in the work zones.
