In recognition of Independence Day, all Port of Virginia terminals will be closed starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 4.

Operations will resume starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 5. Gates at Norfolk International Terminals (NIT) and APM Terminals Virginia (APMT) will be open from 7 a.m. until noon on Saturday. Rail and vessel operations will resume on Saturday at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., respectively, and proceed normally throughout the weekend.

The port’s World Trade Center office, Newport News Marine Terminal, Virginia Inland Port and the Port of Richmond will all be closed until start of business on Monday, July 7.
