On August 7, we informed you of our plans to expand truck gate hours at Virginia International Gateway (VIG), Norfolk International Terminals (NIT) and supporting facilities.

Based on our ongoing collaboration with the Tidewater Motor Truck Association’s (TMTA) Pier Committee, and the recent effects of vessel bunching resulting from Hurricane Isaias, we are accelerating our previously announced plans.

Effective Monday, Aug. 17, 2020, our revised operating schedule goes into effect, as follows:

· Truck gates at NIT and VIG will open at 0600 hours, Monday – Friday

o PRO-PASS Truck Reservation System (TRS) mandatory hours will be in effect from 0600 – 1500 hours at NIT and VIG

· Truck gates at the Pinners Point Container Yard (PPCY), Portsmouth Chassis Yard (PCY) and the Reefer Service Area (RSA) will open at 0600 hours, Monday – Friday

· Our end-of-day hours will remain unchanged:

o Inbound truck portals at NIT and VIG will close at 1600
§ Final reefer pick-ups at 1530 hours
o PPCY – Last empty container deliveries and pick-ups at 1630 hours
o PCY – Last in-gate trucks at 1630 hours
o RSA – Last empty container deliveries and pick-ups at 1630 hours

Gate hours at Newport News Marine Terminal (NNMT), Richmond Marine Terminal (RMT) and the Virginia Inland Port (VIP) will remain unchanged.
