NIT South Traffic Advisory – Wednesday Afternoon, Sept. 23

On Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 23, beginning at approximately 2:00 pm, our Maintenance Team will perform necessary asphalt work in proximity to NIT’s south gate, beyond the interchange. When the work begins, CBP’s radiation portal monitor will be reduced from two lanes to one.

In order to avoid possible congestion, truck drivers are encouraged to exit the terminal via NIT’s north gate. The south gate will remain open, but delays are possible.

The asphalt work will be completed on Sept. 23 and traffic patterns will return to normal on Thursday morning, Sept. 24.
