Motor Carrier Partners,

With the safety of our partners, stakeholders and colleagues as our first priority, we are continuing to monitor the movement of Hurricane Dorian and its potential impact on our operations. In an effort to be mindful of the resources required to schedule reservations at The Port of Virginia, PRO-PASS will delay the release of Friday’s reservation capacity until noon on Thursday, Sept. 5, which is three hours later than normal.

Saturday’s and Monday’s reservation capacity will be released in accordance with our regular schedule, at 0900 hours on Friday, Sept. 6.  These changes apply to both NIT and VIG.

We understand this is an inconvenience and are appreciative of your patience and flexibility given the uncertainty of our weather in the next 48 hours.  If our position changes, we will communicate with you immediately.

Again, thank you for your use of PRO-PASS, supporting The Port of Virginia.  Please continue to monitor our communications platforms for future storm-related messages.
