Based on the latest information, it is expected Hurricane Arthur will pass east of the Port. Subject to change, including the possibility of a change in the storm track and worsening conditions, it is expected the Port may experience some Tropical Storm conditions beginning early Friday morning, which may include strong winds and storm surge. Truckers should plan accordingly, taking appropriate precautions; however, the US Coast Guard Captain of the Port is not expected to institute port conditions or restrictions to commercial navigation.
