Port Partners,

Thursday, March 17, 2016, is Thomas W. Gleason’s birthday – an ILA holiday. All Port of Virginia container operations are unaffected, maintaining a “business as usual” posture on March 17.

However, breakbulk, container freight station (CFS) and out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo operations will be impacted as follows:

• NIT, PMT and VIG – all breakbulk, CFS and OOG operations CLOSED
• NNMT – breakbulk and OOG remain OPEN, but the CFS will be CLOSED
• Virginia Inland Port and Richmond Marine Terminal – normal operations/business as usual

All port administrative offices will observe normal hours on March 17.
