TMTA gives motor carriers a unified voice within the complex operating environment of the Port of Virginia. From terminal operations and infrastructure concerns to safety initiatives and regulatory discussions, members gain direct access to conversations that impact day-to-day trucking operations across Hampton Roads.
The intermodal environment requires constant coordination between terminals, railroads, chassis providers, government agencies, and carriers. TMTA helps members stay informed, address operational challenges collaboratively, and strengthen communication between the trucking industry and key port stakeholders.
TMTA connects carriers with trusted local vendors, service providers, and logistics partners that understand the demands of port operations.
